A Mother's Prayer

A child is the most precious gift of all, given to Moms and Dads by God our Creator!

"Train up a child in the way he should go and he when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6

The video by - Rachel Aldous, is a baby lullaby with the most beautiful prayer of a mom. Please watch.

The words she sings probably speak the very words that are in the hearts of every mom.

May you have a beautiful Mother's Day and enjoy your family.

Thank God for moms!

Celebrate! Jesus is Alive!

Easter is not about peeps, jellybeans, chocolate bunnies, or colored eggs.

True…it has become a tradition to fill the Easter baskets with candy and to hide the eggs for the children to find.

These are fun and enjoyable things to do; especially when you see your children’s faces light up with excitement.

But, that is not the Easter message!

Are you sharing the true Easter story with your children?

Easter is Resurrection Sunday!

We celebrate because Jesus is alive!

Jesus, who is our Savior, gave His life as our sin sacrifice so that we can have eternal life with Him in Heaven!

He did not stay dead in the grave. He rose from the dead on the third day as He had promised.

“But very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes.”
Luke 24: 1-4 NLT

“The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.”
Luke 24:5-7 NLT

Celebrate! He’s alive! Dance with joy as you watch this video…

More than 2,000 people from Second Baptist Church, Houston, Texas, gathered at Discovery Green in the heart of Houston to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.

The song is called "Rise Up" sung by Lauren James Camey and produced by Joshua Moore.

Happy Easter,

My Battle Cry!

A little boy was waiting for his mother to come out of the grocery store.

As he waited, a man approached him and asked, "Son, can you tell me where the Post Office is?"

The little boy replied, "Sure! Just go straight down this street a couple blocks and turn to your right."

The man thanked the boy kindly and said, "I'm the new pastor in town. I'd like for you to come to church on Sunday. I'll show you how to get to Heaven."

The little boy replied with a chuckle, "Awww, come on...You don't even know the way to the Post Office."

This joke is humorous and it brought a smile to my face.

I’ve had a recurring impression in my spirit lately that keeps showing up in most things I read or see on the news. Now, even this joke speaks a truth to me…

How many of our youth today believe that the church or the preacher can show them the way to Heaven?

If they do believe in Heaven, they are listening to other voices on how to get there…voices that tell them to be tolerant of other gods and beliefs, because any path will get you there.

They are being fed a lie!

As a believer in Jesus Christ, I must share the truth of Jesus with others. He is the only way to Heaven, because He is the one who died for our sins!

The Holy Spirit has laid this heavy on my heart. I feel that I must do whatever I can do to wake up others to take notice that many of our children today do not know the difference between religion and a relationship with Jesus Christ.

This is the reason for starting this blog: My battle cry is, “Teach this generation the truth!”

“And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:32

All for Him,
